THORChain vs Jupiter vs LI.FI: Which Route Wins and When
By Oddrix ·
Oddrix asks three different engines for a quote at the same time and shows you the results side by side. They work in very different ways, so the winner depends on what you are swapping.
THORChain: native cross-chain
THORChain runs its own network of nodes holding real assets in vaults on Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Dogecoin, Litecoin and more. It is the main way to swap native BTC without a wrapped token or a custodian. Best for: BTC, DOGE, LTC and other native-chain coins, and large cross-chain trades.
Jupiter: Solana aggregation
Jupiter searches every major Solana DEX and splits your order across pools for the best price, in a single transaction that confirms in seconds. Best for: any swap where both tokens are on Solana, including brand-new tokens you add by mint address.
LI.FI: multi-chain routing
LI.FI combines many DEXs and bridges across EVM chains and Solana. It shines for moving stablecoins and ETH between Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain and Avalanche. Best for: bridging and EVM-to-EVM swaps.
Why the best route changes
Pool depth, gas prices, bridge liquidity and fees change minute by minute. A route that wins for $100 may lose for $100,000 because of price impact. That is why Oddrix re-quotes every time and lets you pick.
| Need | Usually best |
|---|---|
| ETH → native BTC | THORChain |
| SOL → any Solana token | Jupiter |
| USDC Ethereum → Base | LI.FI |
| BNB → DOGE | THORChain |
